Background
Precision Krafts was opened for business on April 1st of 1992
by Herb Wedekind. After working in the building industry for 10
years, prior to starting Precision Krafts, he decided that it was
time to create a company that would provide services, which
appeared to be over looked by many of the other construction
business owners.
Simple things such as...
Initial Planning
At the very beginning of the project, even before the complete project is
defined planning must be started. Figure out where you want to end up
and plan backwards from there, planning each step to the completion of
the project.
Customer Education
We all fear what we don't know, because that's what always turns out to
be the biggest problem. It is the job of the professionals that you hire to
educate you, the customer, on any portion of the process that you don't
understand, thus eliminating your fears.
Team work
A real coordinated effort between the customer, designer, architect,
engineer, general contractor and subcontractors is greatly needed. It is
our belief that everyone involved in a project should be working together
on the customers behalf. Too many times, adversarial relationships arise
in projects because those involved have never before worked together. It
can be compared to putting a group of people together who have never
met and asking them to play a team sport. Every time the team makes a
mistake, it would costs the spectators watching the game an
undetermined amount of money. Good teams take practice, and
communication.
